William Richard Fisher, age 90, of Plano, Texas passed away January 11, 2004, at his home. He was born May 11, 1913, in Steubenville, Ohio to James Ross and Lillian (Pearson) Fisher. On March 13, 1935, he married Wilma E. Dougherty in Wintersville, Ohio. Mr. Fisher was a steelworker for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation at the New Process Plant. He was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Elizabeth Fisher of Plano; daughters, Nancy Jaenke of St. Louis, Missouri, Donna Patrick of McKinney, Texas, and Joan Doering of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Donald Fisher of Eugene, Oregon and Kenneth Fisher of Escondido, California; granddaughters, Robyn Florian of Greenville, Illinois, Susan Ude of Dallas, Karen Flood of Palm Beach, Florida, Allison Patrick of McKinney, and Cassandra MacGregor of Portland, Texas; grandsons, Todd Jaenke of St. Louis and Scott MacGregor of San Jose; great grandsons, Taylor, Will and Hunter Florian all of Greenville, Illinois and Reid Jaenke of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Fisher. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2004, at the Stonebridge United Methodist Church, 1800 South Stonebridge in McKinney.
