A memorial service for William Thomas Clark, 84 year old Leonard resident, is scheduled for Friday January 14, 2011 at 10 A.M. at the Grove Hill Methodist Church. Rev. Jim McIntire will officiate. Mr. Clark was born June 15, 1926 at Bonham. His parents were Elmer Eugene and Sudie Margarite Taylor Clark. He married his wife, Ruby Edna Clark, on October 13, 1973 at the Grove Hill Methodist Church. He was a cattle rancher and a member of the Bonham VFW. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 until 1946 and his church affiliation was the Grove Hill Methodist Church. He passed away Monday January 10th at the Leonard Manor. He is survived by a sister, Margene Whitton, of Atlanta, Georgia and by a brother, John Clark, of Greenville. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Clark. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Leonard is in charge of arrangements.
