William (Bill) Francis Taylor, age 81, of Fairview, Texas, passed away January 20, 2015, in Plano, Texas. Bill was born August 3, 1933, in Somerville, Massachusetts, to Cornelius J. and Bridget (Cole) Taylor. He married Sylvia Themo on August 29, 1959, in Somerville. The Taylor family moved to Dallas in 1976 where Bill was employed with Texas Instruments for twenty-eight years. Bill proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia T. Taylor of Fairview, Texas; sons, Richard Taylor and wife, Yoli of Austin, Texas and Gregory Taylor of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Marcia Taylor of Dallas, Texas; and his beloved dog, Cotton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twelve siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
