William “Bill” J. Reid, age 66, of McKinney, Texas, passed away February 11, 2005, at his home. He was born February 5, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to William A. and Ruth (Grau) Reid. He married Darlene Brown on March 24, 1990, in Carrollton, Texas. He proudly served as a military officer in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. Mr. Reid was a member of the Plano Masonic Lodge and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church where he was a church elder for the 2003-2004 year. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Reid of McKinney,Texas; daughters, Mary Beth Reid Moreau and husband, Nathan of Fort Hood, Texas, Sheryl Holden and husband, Kip of Sachse, Texas; son, Billy Reid and wife, Stephanie of Frisco, Texas; daughters, Beverly Hutchings and husband, Steven of Hurst, Texas, and Lisa Pou and husband, Scott of Flower Mound, Texas; brother, Joe Reid of McKinney, Texas; sister, Carol Ann Greenzweig; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Lou. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, February 14, 2005, at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wesley Geary officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
