William "Bill" Alton Keaton

Feb 09 1955 - May 23 2017

William (Bill) Alton Keaton, 62, succumbed to cancer at home surrounded by his family on May 23, 2017 in Frisco, Texas. He was born to William and Eda Beth Keaton in Amarillo, Texas on February 9, 1955. Bill - better known as a faithful servant, teacher, and protector, acquired many titles throughout his life – student, graduate research assistant, plumber, truck driver, biologist, and CEO of Baylor Medical Center at Frisco. However, his most important titles were husband, father, and grandfather, lovingly known as “Bear”. These titles kept Bill busy, but in his free time he enjoyed playing golf, traveling to wineries with his wife Donna, refereeing football, cooking in his pizza oven, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his wife Donna; his son, Shelby and daughter-in-law Erin of Denver, Colorado; his daughter, Lauren and son-in-law Craig of Corinth, Texas; his daughter, Lindsay and son-in-law Matt of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, Baileigh of Dallas, Texas; his son, Buster and daughter-in-law Dusty of Denver, Colorado; his son Blair and daughter-in-law Lindsey of Amarillo, Texas; and his grandchildren, Landry, Hattie Jane, Caleb, Chase, and Kelby.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Stonebriar Community Church, 4801 Legendary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75034.
