Mr. Wilburn Lee Tucker, age 85, of McKinney, Texas passed away April 29, 2007. He was born January 9, 1922, in Collin County, Texas to Clarence Henry and Ethel Mae (Standley) Tucker. On July 14, 1951 he married Leta Joyce Stanley in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Tucker proudly served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He worked for TU Electric and retired after 33 years of service. He is survived by his son, Barney Tucker and wife, Christie of McKinney, Texas; seven grandchildren; brother, Charles Scott Tucker of Dallas, Texas and sister, Rose Sanders of Princeton, Texas. Preceding him in death were his parents, Clarence Henry and Ethel Mae Tucker; wife, Leta Joyce Tucker and his son, Martin Tucker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Stan Fike officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m.
