Wilbur Lee Lewis of McKinney, Texas passed away September 11, 2014 at the age of 91. He was born February 13, 1923 to Joseph Ruben Lewis and Thelma (Jones) Lewis in Rockport, Missouri. Wilbur served proudly in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII. He was married to Dorothy Lewis for sixty years before her passing in 2002. Wilbur’s career included thirty-eight years with TWA. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Missouri for fifty years.
Wilbur is survived by his son, Terry Lewis of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Shirley Federline and husband, Tom also of McKinney, Texas; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Lewis and wife Jackie of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Lewis.
A funeral service will be held in Ballwin, Missouri.
