Wayne Allen Sha, age 61 of The Colony, Texas passed away on April 11, 2011 in The Colony surrounded by his family. He was born on November 26, 1949 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Lester and Della (Fuder) Sha. Wayne served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He married Linda Timmerman on June 11, 1977 in Rolla, North Dakota. Wayne worked as a Production & Inventory Control Manager at Wil-Rich, Wahpeton, North Dakota (1973-1986) and as a Planner/Scheduler and in Customer Service with International Paper, Carrollton, Texas (1986-2011). He is survived by his wife, Linda Sha of The Colony, Texas; daughters, Amy Kalb and husband, Jason of Little Elm, Texas, Lindsey Gerber and husband, Paul of Carrollton, Texas; his grandson, Cooper Sha Kalb (to arrive in June); brother, Dennis Sha and wife, Linda of Denton, Texas; nieces, Kristin Boyd of Carrollton, Texas, Kim Wissen of Austin, Texas; special aunt, Marian Ellingson of Fargo, North Dakota and Linda’s family, who looked on Wayne as “one of their own.” He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Della Sha and his maternal and fraternal grandparents. The family will receive friends during a Visitation to be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco beginning at 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75010. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco.
