Obituary For Wayne Franklin Fisher II Heaven’s gates were opened to Wayne Franklin Fisher II, age 60, of McKinney, Texas on October 7, 2007. He was born August 29, 1947 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Wayne Franklin Fisher, Sr. and Evelyn Alberta (Demaris) Fisher. On September 1, 1968 he married Roberta Wasson in Kearney, Nebraska. Wayne grew up in Nebraska. He received a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree from the University of Nebraska in Computers and Education. He was a private pilot and flight instructor. Wayne was a member of AOPA and EAA. He was instrumental in connecting all Nebraska schools to the internet. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 15 and was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Robbie Fisher of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Charis Young and husband, David of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Hannah Young; father, Wayne Franklin Fisher, Sr. of Palmyra, Virginia; sister, Diann Cone of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Phil Fisher and wife, Vicki of Hastings, Nebraska and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, Allen, Texas, with Rev. Dennis George officiating. A memorial service will also be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Faith Bible Church, Lincoln, Nebraska, with Rev. Dean O’Bryan and Rev. Tom Rempel, officiating.
