Wanda Grace Hall, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away August 13, 2015 at the Victoria Gardens in Allen, after having lived with Lewy Body Dementia the past several years. Wanda was born September 22, 1938 in Denison. Her parents were L.D. and Callie Allison. After graduating from Denison High School, she married Wilburn Hall. Together, they felt the call to ministry, and Wilburn became a pastor and Wanda a pastor’s wife.
Funeral services for Wanda are scheduled for Sunday August 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pike Baptist Church. Brother Don Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Cemetery. Family visitation will be Saturday August 15, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Wanda was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva Hiser and Virginia McColley.
Wanda is survived by her four children and their spouses: Denise and Robert Farrell of Murphy, Thresa and Paul Milligan, Dwayne and Vicki Hall and Linda and Eric Fisher, all of Leonard; her 11 grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren; her brothers, L.D. Allison of McKinney and Jerry Allison of Denison and her sister-in-law, Carolyn Simmons of Denison.
