Walter Rudolph Maki, age 73, of Frisco, Texas passed away on August 24, 2011. He was born on May 14, 1938 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Ruth Hannula and Alex Maki. On May 3, 1956, Walter married Marvalene Montgomery in Memphis, Tennessee. He served in the United States Marines and was a Pipe Fitting Machinist. Walter is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marvalene Maki of Frisco, Texas; three children, Walter R. Maki, Jr. of Arlington, Tennessee, John G. Maki and his wife, Connie of Bartlett, Tennessee, Ginny Chandler and her husband, Tony Whitelow of Frisco, Texas; five grandchildren, Caitlin Maki, Erin Payne, Jason Pashby, Jeremy Pashby, and Ryan Montgomery Chandler; two great-grandchildren, Mikayla Pashby and Jaxson Pashby. Walter is preceded in death by his daughter, LeAnne Carver and parents, Ruth and Alex Maki. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
