W.L. Nixon

W.L. Nixon of Dallas, Texas passed away July 20, 2015 at the age of 76. He was born January 8, 1939 to Reuben Alton Nixon and Lydia Hendricks in Anna, Texas. W.L. grew up in Anna, Texas. He was a 1957 graduate of McKinney High School. After graduation, he worked for Secode Electronics in Garland for several years. W.L. later retired from Luminator Technology Group after fifteen years of service. He loved living at the lake and fishing.  W.L. also had a passion for keeping his yard looking nice. W.L. will be remembered as a shy, kind, and sweet person who was somewhat particular. 

He is survived by his daughters, LeeAnn Segovia of Marshall and Shelley Hallum and husband Mike also of Marshall; grandchildren, Mikel Segovia of Dallas, Travis Segovia of Dallas, Jantzen Hallum, Jordan Hallum, Jaycee Hallum all of Marshall; very special niece, Gayla Jenson and husband Danny of Sunnyvale; sisters, Polly Morton and husband George, of Garland, Sue Lindsey and husband Johnny of McKinney, and Lue Love and husband Ronnie of Durant; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

W.L. was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Lydia Nixon; sisters, Barbara Jane Estep, Dorothy Gayle Douglas, Sherry Lynn Crigger, Joy Lee Nixon and brother, R.A. Nixon.
