W. E. "Bozy" Keyes, Jr.

Mr. W.E. “Bozy” Keyes, Jr. age 71, of McKinney, Texas passed away at his home on March 2, 2004. He was born April 14, 1932, in McKinney to W.E. and Zona Iness (Reeder) Keyes, Sr. On July 26, 1958, he married Pauline Williams in Durant, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Branch, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Keyes of McKinney; sons, Bruce Keyes and wife, Gigi of Nevada, Texas and Jimmy Branam of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Randall Brockman of Blue Ridge, Texas; daughter, Shirley Sward and husband, Tom of Shady Shores, Texas; grandchildren, Christy Dillard, James Hardin, Chance Branam, Dana and Joshua Brockman, Justin and Kyleigh Keyes; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Casey and Colton Cozart; Zackury Hardin; sisters, Betty May of Sherman, Texas and Peggy Atterberry of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother, Joe Owen Keyes of McKinney; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Amber Branam. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 5, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Lonnie James Stewart and Rev. Dalton Froman officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
