W. D. "Dub" Prince

Mr. W.D. "Dub" Prince, age 78 of Allen, Texas passed away April 28, 2005, in McKinney. He was born April 5, 1927 in Murphy, Texas to Joseph Martin Perry Jackson Prince and Suda B. (Chumley) Prince. Dub married his first wife, Evelyn Lois Brown on July 17, 1953 in McKinney, TX, his second wife, Pearley Janette “Lewis” Sundermyer on September 9, 1983 in Allen, TX; and his present wife, Arlene Alderman Sprague on December 11, 2004 in McKinney. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was a certified nurse’s aid working for the VA for 20 years and the Richardson Medical Center for 25 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Arlene Prince of McKinney; sons, Glen Redden of Houston, TX, Dallas Joe Prince of Laredo, TX, and William T. Prince of Rosenburg, TX; daughters, Evelyn Kay Fitzpatrick of Dallas, TX and Debra Lynn Dishman of Jeffersonville, IN; 6 grandchildren; sister, Imogene Bomar of McKinney, TX; and brother, J. D. Prince of Celina, TX. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn; his second wife, Pearley, brothers, Perry J. and Hubert Prince; and sisters, Mildred Bales and Dorothy Poole. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Leonard Allgood officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
