W. Wayne Clark of McKinney, Texas passed away November 25, 2011 at the age of 67. He was born March 23, 1944 to Donald and Eleanor (Hoge) Clark in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Wayne served his country proudly in the United States Navy from 1965-1969. He grew up in Iowa and moved to Parker, Texas in 1978. Wayne worked for Collins Radio as a facilities engineer. He is a former Parker City Councilman. In August of 2001, he retired after 40 years of employment with Collins Radio, Rockwell and Alcatel. After retirement, he owned and operated Wayne’s Fix-it, a handyman service. Wayne’s hobbies included the art of stained glass. He is survived by his children; Matthew Clark, Laurie Christiansen and husband Brad, and their mother Carole Clark, all of Plano, Texas; granddaughter, Taylor Christiansen; mother, Eleanor Clark of Anamosa, Iowa; brother, Paul Clark and wife Carol of Dubuque, Iowa; niece, Tana Tesdall and family; nephew, David Clark and family. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Inurnment with Military Honors will immediately follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
