Mrs. Virginia Holland, age 95, of McKinney, Texas passed away December 21, 2005, in McKinney. She was born January 12, 1910, in Plano, Texas to William Dillon and Dennie (Coffey) Goode. She was a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Sanford Burrus in McKinney. Mrs. Holland was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in McKinney for over 80 years. She is survived by her son, Walter Dillon Holland of Novato, California; grandson, Steven Holland and wife, Amy and great grandson, Robby Holland all of Pleasanton, California; granddaughter, Sharon Holland of Novato, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Holland; and daughter, Carolyn Lee. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Randy Morlan officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00-4:00 p.m., Friday for visitation.
