Mr. Virgil M. Smith, age 89, of McKinney, Texas passed away July 25, 2006 in McKinney. He was born November 11, 1916 in Prosper, Texas to Benjamin W. and Susan Virginia Smith. Mr. Smith was a sales representative for Allen Butane Company. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of McKinney and a Member of the St. John’s Masonic Lodge #51 in McKinney, TX. He is survived by his daughter Virginia Ann Smith of Houston, TX; granddaughter Melinda Stevens of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren Gabriel Steven Sedillo and Koen Alano Sedillo of Houston, TX; sister Loreta Hickey of Plano, TX; and brother Harold Smith of Lodi, CA. His wife Ruby Faye Smith and brother Worley Smith preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, July 28, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. John Blacklock officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
