Trisha O'Hara McCallister

Ms. Trisha Lee O’Hara McCallister, age 46, of Plano, Texas passed away on March 4, 2011. She was born on February 19, 1965 in Sandusky, Ohio to Ernest and Phyllis (Smith) O’Hara. She grew up in Huron, Ohio. In 1987, she graduated from Bowling Green State University and later attained her CPA license. She married Steve McCallister on September 21, 1996.

She was highly involved in her daughters’ activities and loved outdoor recreation. Trisha began her work career at Armstrong Air Conditioning in Bellevue, Ohio in 1989. In 1991 she moved to Texas and took a position as Accounting Analyst with Lennox Industries. She held various positions and moved up the corporate ladder. This led to a promotion and move to Grenada, Mississippi to become Controller of ADP. In 2008, she and her family returned to Texas where she held her most recent role as Director, Financial Planning & Analysis for the Lennox Residential Business Unit.

Trisha is survived by her children, Katherine Marie and Sara Ann all of Plano, Texas; parents, Ernest and Phyllis O’Hara of Indiana, Pennsylvania; sister Trudi Baaske and husband Jon, and their children, Kennedy, Andrew, and Brynn of Huron, Ohio; sister Leslie O’Hara and her son, Fredric of Pensacola, Florida; sister Susan O’Hara and her daughter, Emily of Pensacola, Florida; a friend of the family and Ex-Husband Steve, and a host of other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by grandparents Ernest and Jean O’Hara and Cecile and Floyd Smith.

 A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, March 7, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow/Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. A service will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, March 8, at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, Texas with Associate Minister Tim Morrison officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to SPCA and Special Olympics at www.sotx.org.
