Travis A. Langford

Travis Allen Langford, age 74 of Richardson, Texas passed away April 6, 2015 in Richardson, Texas. He was born November 9, 1940 in Baytown, Texas to Travis Culberson and Emma (DeLawder) Langford. Travis was a graduate of Texas Tech University. He married Marilyn “Joyce” Langford May 14, 1966 in Wathena, Kansas. Travis proudly served as a Captain in the United States Army and was a member of M.O.W.W. – The Military Order of The World Wars. He volunteered at Network of Community Ministries in Richardson, Texas and was a proud member of the NRA. Travis was active in his church, First United Methodist Church of Plano. He loved hunting and spent a lot of time at the Langford Hunting Camp, his property in East Texas. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Langford of Richardson, Texas; two daughters, Audra Langford and fiancé Brian Alexander of Chicago, Illinois and Ashley Bahlmann and husband Bob of Chicago, Illinois; brother, James Langford and wife Jamie of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; along with a host of other loving family and friends.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Travis C. and Emma Langford.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas.
