Toney Salazar Orozco

 Toney Salazar Orozco was born January 15, 1933 at Trenton, Texas to Juan Orozco and Maria Salazar Orozco. He married Linda Kingston on July 31, 1959 at Sherman, Texas. He died on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas at the age of 79. He was a lifelong resident of Trenton, Texas.

Toney was a graduate of Trenton High School. After graduating he served his nation in the U.S Army. Toney’s childhood dream was to become a fireman. He fulfilled his dream as a fireman with E-Systems in Greenville, where he later retired. Toney loved his Lord, his family and his community. He was always active and involved in serving his community, youth leagues, Boy Scouts, and as a volunteer fireman. Toney was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Bonham.

He is survived by wife, Linda Orozco; son, John Orozco; daughter, Tonette Serrano; granddaughters, Monica and Melinda Serrano; great-granddaughter, Maleah Serrano all of  Trenton; and numerous family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters: Carmen Aguirre, Lupe Orozco, Lucio Orozco, Pascual Orozco, and Hope Reyes.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, Trenton, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dan Gurley and Rev. Chuck Jestis.

Toney is loved and will be greatly missed.
