Mr. Tom Barnes Warden, Sr., age 93, a lifelong resident of McKinney, Texas, passed away October 1, 2005, at his home. He was born October 30, 1911, in McKinney to Owlen Barrett(O. B.) and Alice (Barnes) Warden. On March 25, 1933, he married Beatrice Hall in Durant, Oklahoma. Mr. Warden was a supervisor at Textile Mill, manager of C. P. Horn Appliance and was a bookkeeper/salesman at Howells Home Furnishings. He was a member of the First Christian Church in McKinney. He is survived by his children, Landis William Warden and wife, Marie of San Marcos, Texas, Tom Barnes Warden, Jr. and Tim Michael Warden and his wife, Sue, all of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Cheryl Ann Warden Crowe, Landis “Bill” William Warden, Jr., Todd Alexander Warden, and Brittny “Sarver” Locke; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Tabatha, Stewart and Taylor Warden and Logan and Payton Locke; great-great-grandchildren, Jerid and Cheyenne; and many other relatives. His wife, parents and brother, William Henry “Bill” Warden preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 4, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Randy Morlan officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Monday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
