Thomas Clell Jones, age 78, of Plano, Texas passed away September 14, 2010. He was born September 7, 1932 in Anna, Texas to Walter Jones and Allie (Pierson) Jones. Thomas married Omega Kirby in 1948 she preceded him in death. On June 3, 1997, he later married Patricia Felts Davis in Plano, Texas. He was a member of the Collin County Bee Association. Thomas was also a member of the Waterview Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jones of Plano, Texas; son, Tommy Jones and wife, Eva of McKinney, Texas; step-daughters, Debra Reid and husband, Jim Bob of Dallas, Texas, Brenda Nieves and husband, Carols of Irving, Texas, Rhonda Sheftall of Dallas, Texas, Trena Davis of Gun Barrel City, Texas, Cindy Davis and husband, Garry of Melissa, Texas; grandchildren, Tommy Jones II, Chad Jones, Larry Rosales, Stephen Sheftall and Brian Sheftall; great-grandchildren, Kyler Jones and Chloe Jones; brother, Bob Jones and sister, Alta Gracy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Allie; brother, J.W. Norman; great-grandson, Colby Jones; sisters, Peggy Reno and Helen Hammer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Waterview Church of Christ, Richardson, Texas with Bro. Robert Oglesby officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Oglesby Scholarship Foundation Waterview Church of Christ.
