Thomas “Tom” Marvin Johnson, Jr., age 46, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 2, 2008. He was born October 27, 1962 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Thomas Marvin Johnson, Sr. and Elvie Jean (Sargent) Johnson. On February 13, 1993 he married Michele Reynolds in Dallas, Texas. Tom grew up in Iowa Park, Texas. He attended Texas Tech and Midwestern State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Tom currently worked as a controller for Abatix in Dallas, Texas. He was a pilot and enjoyed flying and corvettes. He is survived by his wife, Michele Reynolds Johnson of McKinney, Texas; children, Rachel Johnson and Jeana Jones; parents, Thomas, Sr. and Jean Johnson of Iowa Park, Texas; sister, Kathy Payne and husband, Brad of Lubbock, Texas; brother, Frank Johnson and wife, Tammy of Colorado City, Texas; grandmother, Irene Sargent of Iowa Park, Texas and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Chaplain Paul Ramler officiating. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday one hour prior to the service, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
