Mr. Thomas Walter Huemiller, age 71, of Fairview, Texas passed away August 20, 2010, in Allen, Texas. He was born September 18, 1938, in Pontiac, Michigan to Walter and Helen (Monahagn) Huemiller. On April 28, 1962, he married Helen Willer in Louisville, Mississippi. Mr. Huemiller proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a software engineer for Alcatel in Plano, Texas, where he retired in 2003, after 23 years of service. Prior to Alcatel, he worked for DSC. Mr. Huemiller was a member of the Creekwood United Methodist Church in Allen, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Helen; son, Tom Huemiller and daughter-in-law, Irina of Fairview, Texas; and grandson, Roman Thomas Huemiller. His parents preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Creekwood United Methodist Church, 261 Country Club Rd. in Allen, with Rev. Mike Haynes and Rev. Holly Bandel officiating. Interment will follow at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Lucas, Texas. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
