Thomas Felmlee, aged 72, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away at 12:34 a.m. at the Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, Texas, on February 9, 2013. Thomas was born at 7:05 a.m. on April 2, 1940 to Lorraine and Edward Felmlee of Oil City, Pennsylvania. Thomas served the Army and his country with honor and distinction. Thomas studied at the Cooper School of Art, Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in art with emphasis in graphic design and advertising.
Thomas married the love of his life, Kathy Klann, on June 21, 1968. They had two sons in Cleveland, Ohio; Christopher, August 10, 1970 and Joshua, October 16, 1974.
Thomas was an accomplished graphic designer and was awarded honors for his success in advertising.
Thomas loved children and was especially proud of his grandchildren; Erica (12), Christopher II (11), Amanda (8)and Garrett (6)born to Christopher and Melissa Felmlee of Vandalia, Missouri, and Veda (2)born to Joshua and Holly Felmlee of McKinney, Texas.
Thomas was a devoted husband, looked up to by his children and grandchildren and was always eager to help those in need.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
