Thomas Weldon Crump, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 15, 2012 at the age of 74. He was born November 21, 1938, in McKinney, Texas, to Brice Anthony and Willie Juanita (Miller) Crump. On March 14, 1958, Tom married Elizabeth Ritter in Melissa, Texas. He graduated from McKinney High School, and attended Texas A&M University. Tom was one of the owners of Crumps Garden Inc. He was a member of First Christian Church in McKinney.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of McKinney; children, Tommy Crump and wife Julie of McKinney, Christi Parker and husband Chris of Richardson, Texas, Kathi Smith and husband Tony of McKinney; grandchildren, Matt and Kaylee Smith, Andrew Smith, Carson Parker, Melissa Parker, Ty Crump, Toby Crump, Emily Crump, Kayley Winburn and Mallory Winburn; brother, Bill Crump.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Brice Anthony and Willie Juanita Crump and brother, Joe Crump.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas, officiating by Dr. Neill Grimes. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove, in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Monday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
