Theresa “Jo” Reid, age 83, of Plano, Texas passed away August 2, 2011. She was born December 16, 1927 in Memphis Tennessee to Crispino Guasco and Theresa (Lombardi) Guasco. On September 7, 1952 she married Lee R. Reid in Memphis, Tennessee. Theresa was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Plano. She is survived by her sons, Michael Reid and wife, Celia of Denton, Texas, David Reid and wife, Linda of Wylie, Texas; daughters, Barbara Reid Steele and husband, Mike of McKinney, Texas, Theresa R. McBeth and husband, David of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Nicholas Reid, Austin Reid, Chris Reid, Courtney Reid, Brice McBeth and Chase McBeth; sister, Estelle Crawford and husband, Bill of Memphis, Tennessee; brother, Joe Guasco and wife, Sylvia of Memphis, Tennessee and her faithful and loving caregiver, Thuy and other loving relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, 2011 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Plano, Texas with Monsignor Leon Duesman and Father James Yamauchi celebrants. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
