Mrs. Thelma Lucy Moore, age 66, of Plano, Texas passed away August 3, 2007, in Garland, Texas. She was born September 8, 1940, in Muskegon, Michigan to Claude Stanley and Versa Tacoma (Apple) Smith. On July 2, 1959, she married H. David Moore in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church of Plano. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and the Social Order of the Beauceant. Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, David, son, Glenn D. Moore and his wife, Lori, of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Nancy G. Blake and her husband, John, of Plano; brother, Stanley C. Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandsons, Michael Blake, Christopher Blake Thomas Blake and Stephen Blake all of Plano and Justin Moore of Richardson. Her parents, Claude and Versa Smith preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 6, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Fred Bacon officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
