IN LOVING MEMORY

Terry "Mac" McCuistion

May 09 1949 - Oct 16 2012

Terry “Mac” McCuistion passed into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 16th, 2012 at the age of 63. Mac will be missed by his loving family, friends, church family and bank family. He will always be remembered as a godly man that loved the Lord, his wife, his children, his friends and as a man that never met a stranger. His faith in Jesus Christ provides his family with peace, knowing that he is truly “Home”, and is reunited with his beloved son, Michael.

Mac was born on May 9, 1949 to Madeline & W.E. McCuistion. He graduated from Woodlawn High in Shreveport, LA and earned his BBA at his beloved alma mater, Louisiana State University. Lifelong friends and memories were made during his years as an LSU Tiger. He then entered the financial industry as his career choice. While living in Northeast Texas, Mac served as President of Texas State Bank and Gladewater National Bank. He and his family moved to Frisco in 2002 and was currently serving as President of Prosperity Bank West in Frisco. Mac was a deacon at Prestonwood Baptist Church and served faithfully there as class officer, marriage mentor and volunteer at the Gainesville Youth Correction Center, along with many other outreach ministries that allowed him to share his passion for Christ with others. Mac’s stewardship for Christ was evident with his ease in getting to know people, making sure they knew that he cared for them, that God cared for them and there is hope in Christ. His legacy of offering encouraging words, friendship and taking young people under his wing will last far beyond Mac’s short 63 years here on earth.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife, Pam, are his son Taylor McCuistion and wife, Grace of Flower Mound; his daughter Katie Chenoweth and husband, Chad of Longview, TX; son Kyle Brown of Frisco. Papa Mac leaves sweet memories to be cherished by his beautiful 3 grandchildren, Kayler and Kolby McCuistion and Madison Chenoweth.

Mac was preceded in death by his mother, Madeline Ford, father W.E. and son, Michael McCuistion.

Family will receive friends and family at a visitation on Thursday, October 18th, 2012 from 6PM-8PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco. Terry “Mac” McCuistion’s life will be celebrated on Friday, October 19th, 2012 at Prestonwood Baptist Church Chapel in Plano, TX at 1PM. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco. Family request that donations be made to the Cancer Support Group, New Cancer Encouragement Life Group, C/O Prosperity Bank, 2860 W.
