IN LOVING MEMORY

Teri Anne Lueders

Jul 28 1966 - Mar 03 2015

Teri Anne Lueders, age 48, of McKinney, Texas, lost her long and grueling battle to ovarian cancer and acute myeloid leukemia on March 3, 2015. Her brothers were by her side. Teri was an incredibly talented and artful young lady who brightened any room she was a part of. Raised in Lucas, Texas, Teri attended school in Fairview at Lovejoy Elementary and high school in Allen, Texas. She attended college at Texas Tech University, studying marketing, and was also a member of the Mensa Society. She embraced life, and her talent as an accomplished artist produced some works that many will cherish for years to come. Teri spent several years living in Seattle and Denver, refining her skills as a freelance copywriter and worked with very well-known companies. Her creativity was welcomed and sought after by numerous marketing professionals and she developed many friendships with her peers. Teri dedicated her life to helping others that were not as fortunate by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. She really enjoyed rolling up her sleeves and getting dirty with the rest of the volunteers and helped give the gift of home ownership to well deserving families. Teri enjoyed travelling the world with family and friends to learn of new cultures and to stimulate her artistic talent.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Rita Lueders and her sister Michelle (Shelly) Nosel.

Teri is survived by her brothers Bryan Lueders and wife Lynda of Plano, TX and Erik Lueders of The Colony, TX; nephews Brandon Lueders of Jupiter, FL and Anthony Nosel of Frisco, TX; niece Katherine Nosel of Frisco, TX; aunts Jean Cicciarelli of Endicott, NY, Jackie Hardman of Englewood, FL and Geri Fry of Austin, TX; uncle Don Lueders of Tigard, OR, and a host of other family members and great friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas with Fr. Timothy Church officiating. The family will receive friends during a Remembrance Gathering from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13th, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
