Susan Elizabeth Krusing, age 64, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on November 19, 2011. She was born March 19, 1947, in Escanaba, Michigan to Raymond and Elizabeth (Lindquist) Thorbjornsen. On January 9, 1971 Sue married Ray Krusing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended Escanaba High School and The Cradle Nursing School in Evanston, Illinois. Sue enjoyed quilting, cooking, and she volunteered for many years at her children’s school; but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney. She is survived by her husband, Ray Krusing of McKinney; sons, Stephen Krusing and wife Karen of McKinney, Michael Krusing and wife Jennifer of Amarillo, Texas, and Matthew Krusing of McKinney; daughter, Kimberly Gilmore and husband Robert of Kingsland, Georgia; grandchildren, Lizzy, Sarah, Nate, and Drew; father, Raymond Thorbjornsen of Escanaba, Michigan; brother Richard Thorbjornsen; sister, Carole LaBay; numerous other loving family members and many very dear friends. Sue is preceded in death by her mother. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, in McKinney, with Father Don Zeiler officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013.
