Steven Larry Schroder, age 61 of Placentia, California passed away on March 19, 2008 in Frisco, Texas. He was born on February 25, 1947 in Huntington Park, California to Elmer and Ruth Schroder. Steve worked as a Salesman in the Rubber Product Industry. He married Nancy Carol Koncel on March 15, 1991 in Placentia, California. Steve is survived by his wife, Nancy Schroder of Frisco, Texas; children, Lisa Hampton of Modesto, California, Karen and Greg Podemski of Frisco, Texas, Wayne “Rocky” III and Renda Downing of Frisco, Texas; mother, Ruth Schroder-Larson and her husband, Vern Larson; grandchildren, Derek Hampton, Rachel “Pookie” Podemski, Jarred “J.J” Podemski; great-granddaughter, Mila Hampton; brother-in-law, Irv Crain of San Diego, California, Sister-in-law, Ann and Ken McDonald of Orange, California, Kathy Downing of Whittier, California, friend, Wayne Downing and numerous nieces and nephews. His father, Elmer Schroder and sister, Linda Mills precede him in death.
