Stephenie Brown, affectionately known as “Steph” by her friends and family passed away on Wednesday, January 23rd. A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, February 3rd from 2:00 PM onward at 11322 Covey Lane, Frisco, Texas. Guests are encouraged to wear red and/or bring red flowers as her favorite color was red!
Steph was a beautiful, smart, adventurous and fun-loving soul, with an infectious laugh, who exuberantly loved life. She enjoyed art, reading, spending time with her grandchild, family and friends. Steph was a tanning aficionado and loved nothing more than a good book and a lazy afternoon by the pool with family and close friends. She had a heart of gold coupled with a no-nonsense attitude, as exemplified by her favorite expression “Suck it up buttercup!”
Steph graduated from Ocean Springs High in Ocean Springs, Mississippi and received a Masters of Science in Psychology from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. She enjoyed a prosperous career in the mortgage industry as a loan officer at SWBC Mortgage Company in Frisco, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Philip Brown; daughter, Catlin Tice; son, Michael Brown; granddaughter, Riley Tice. Other family as follows: her parents, Mary Ann Rogers, Stephen and Jean Rogers; brothers, Mark and Joely Rogers, Jeff Luikes, Robert and Jung-Sook Brown; sisters-in-laws, Noelle Mullins and Erika Neary.
