Stephen Ross Sturgeon, age 40, passed away August 23, 2007 in Frisco, Texas. He was born on July 7, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. On August 4, 1991 he married Amber Crawford in Dallas, Texas. Stephen was employed with Trident for 14 years. Stephen attended Texas State University, which was then known as Southwest Texas. Throughout college he played soccer and had a passion for the game, as well as friendships created there. Three years ago Stephen and his family moved to Frisco. Stephen is survived by his wife Amber Sturgeon of Frisco, Texas; children, Sam and Jackson Sturgeon of Frisco, Texas; parents, Ron and Minnie Sturgeon of South Lake, Texas; grandmother, Edith Sturgeon of Cordell, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held at Hope Fellowship, 9950 Rolater Road, Frisco, Texas 75035, on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 6:00 PM with Brother Richard Smith officiating. Family will have a Private Graveside Service Wednesday, August 29, 2007, with Eric Cummings officiating. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco at their convenience on Monday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening beginning at 6:30 PM.
