Stephanie Dawn Wierzbicki, age 42, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away September 28, 2014. She was born January 6, 1972 in Waxahachie, Texas, to James Edward and Dana Louise (Cooper) Owens. On July 9, 1994, Stephanie married Joseph Wierzbicki in Fort Worth, Texas. She grew up in DeSoto, Texas, where she graduated from high school in 1990. Stephanie attended Gwinnett College, in Lilburn, Georgia and graduated in 2008 with an Assosiates of Science Degree in Business. She worked for Delta Airlines for five years as a gate agent and as a flight attendant for Delta Subsidiary ASA. Stephanie loved dogs and other animals and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Wierzbicki of Little Elm, Texas; father, James Owens and his wife Sandy Elaine Owens of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; mother, Dana Louise Owens of Bedford, Texas; sisters, Kathleen Houk and husband Lowell of McKinney, Texas and Angie Kay Kelly of The Colony, Texas; niece, Sydney Houk; puppies, Gigi, Chloe, Chewie, Little Man and Teddy; a host of other loving friends and family; The Cancer Ministry and her Life Group at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church; and her family at Delta Airlines.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, 1015 Sam Rayburn Tollway, Allen, Texas, with Rev. Dennis George officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
