Mr. Smitty Lee Grayson, age 60, of Plano, Texas passed away May 31, 2009, in Plano. He was born on February 2, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri to Mr. and Mrs. Alton Grayson. On February 14, 1981, he married Diane Miller in Buena Park, California. Mr. Grayson proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Smitty was a man of unsurpassed integrity who was greatly respected by his peers. He was a much admired man of great moral and spiritual character who was very generous, compassionate, helpful and kind to all. He loved to fish and enjoyed time spent in Alaska with his fishing buddies, but his heart was always at home. His greatest passion was his home, his love for his wife, Diane of 28 years and his daughter, Alyse. He also loved his three pomeranians, Romeo, JoJo and Sassy. Smitty will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. He is survived by his wife, Diane and daughter, Alyse Grayson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Floyd Elliot officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
