Mr. Sidney Errol Stroup of Farmersville, Texas passed away February 24, 2011 in McKinney, Texas. He was born June 23, 1941 in McKinney, Texas the son of Paul and Laverne Godwin.
He was married to Mary Jo Gooch June 20, 1971 in Farmersville, Texas.
He was retired from the United States Postal Service, retired from the Farmersville Volunteer Fire Department, and was retired from Stroup Photography which he owned for many years. Sidney was a menber of the Farmersville Masonic Lodge and a menber of the Verona Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jo of Farmersville, Texas, children; Randall Stroup and wife Janice of Princeton, Texas, J.D. Stroup and wife Nancy of Monroe, Louisiana, Hiedi Vaughan and husband Bryan of Mustang, Oklahoma and Steven Stroup of Farmersville, Texas. He is also survived by his brother; Paul H. Stroup and wife Linda of Blue Ridge, Texas and grandchildren; Brandon, Brett, Joshua, Krystal, Logan, Rachel, Heather and Tate Stroup and Jacob and Matthew Vaughan. He is also survived by 2 sister in laws Ann and Nona Gooch.
