Shirley J. Robinson, age 58, of Frisco, Texas, passed away March 13, 2008, in Plano, Texas. Shirley was born June 8, 1949 in McKinney to John Andrew and Minnie Odell (Mitchell) Haney. She married Charles Robinson on March 11, 1977 in McKinney, Texas. Shirley was a member of Community North Baptist Church. She loved traveling and music. She is survived by her husband, Henry Robinson; brothers, Luke Haney and his wife, Eva of Grand Prairie, Texas and Howell Haney and his wife, Sharon of Wills Point, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Doris Robinson; numerous other loving relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Haney; daughter, Wendy Renee Robinson; and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Dr. Bruce Austin and Rev. Don Bourland officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 PM Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
