IN LOVING MEMORY

Sherrill Huston

Apr 05 1910 - Oct 06 2006

Sherrill passed away at 7:55 p.m., Friday, at the Mulberry House where she resided in McKinney, Texas. Sherrill was born in Prosper, Texas. Her parents were John E. Maxey and Betty Bell Maxey. She married Roy Lee Huston in 1933 and they lived on a farm in Prosper until Roy passed away in 1969. Roy and Sherrill had no children. Sherrill moved to McKinney after Roy's death and spent the rest of her life here. Sherrill was an accomplished seamstress and her greatest pleasure was her sewing. I am sure many others in McKinney also shared her work. Her greatest love after Roy passed was her family. Sherrill had the opportunity to see most of American and had extensive trips to Europe, Russia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China. In addition to her parents and husband, Sherrill was preceded in passing by her sister, Dean Maxey Maxson of McKinney and a brother, William C. Maxey of Telephone, Texas on March 20 this year. Sherrill is survived by a niece, Norma Maxey Brewer of Hemphill, Texas and nephew, W. David Maxey of Telephone, Texas, six great nieces and nephews and eleven great-great nieces and nephews. Sherrill was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Patrick McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Sherrill will lie in repose on Sunday, October 8, 2006, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
