Sherman Lowell Nevil

Mr.Sherman Lowell Nevil of Blue Ridge, Texas passed away March 21, 2012 at the Clyde Cosper Unit of the Sam Rayburn Memorial Hospital in Bonham. 

Mr. Nevil was born December 1, 1920 in Blue Ridge, Texas the son of William Arthur and Floye Ellen Russell Nevil.

He married Jeanette  Stovall July 12, 1947 in Denton, Texas and she preceded him in death July 10,2000.

Mr. Nevil served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII and was one of the original individuals to fund and found Southern Maid Donuts. He also worked for Varo Electronics in Garland, Texas. Mr. Nevil was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blue Ridge, Texas. 

He is survived by his children; Cheryl Poland and husband Leonard of Lone Oak, Texas, Beverly Easterling and husband Frank of Parker, Texas, Doug Nevil Nevil and wife Angie of Whitney, Texas and Kyle Nevil of McKinney, Texas, and Gregory Nevil and wife Kay of Orlando, Florida.  He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
