Mr. Seborn Arlin Morgan of Farmersville passed away October 20, 2014 at his residence. Many people knew him as Sam or Arlin. Mr. Morgan was born in Whitesboro, Oklahoma to John Travis and Anna E. Johnson Morgan on July 30, 1940. Arlin married Patricia Lee Rowton on July 31, 1961 in Oklahoma City. He was very proud to have served in the United States Marine Corps' 3rd Recon Battalion. Throughout his life, he worked as a truck driver, a machinist and then retired from Rockwell Collins/Alcatel. He is preceded in death by his father, John Travis Morgan, mother, Anna E Johnson Morgan, and sister, Rebecca Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, sons, Donald Morgan, and wife, Dianna, of Farmersville, Kevin Morgan, and wife, Shannon, of Nevada and daughter, Misty Porter, and husband, Trey, of Melissa. Other survivors include 13 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Brother, Robert Morgan, and wife, June, of Gillette, Wyoming, sister, Norma Wilcox, and husband, Bob, of Talihinia, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Thursday October 23, 2014 at the Hurst Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville. Services will take place Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hurst Fielder-Baker Chapel with Bro. Benny Mondy and Chaplin Ron Brown officiating.
