Scott Limpert, age 53, of Allen, Texas, passed away July 17, 2015. Scott was born July 7, 1962, in New York, New York, to Anthony and Carol (Hopewell) Limpert. He married Lisa Toron on July 14, 1991. Scott graduated in 1980 from Elmwood Park High School and then attended William Paterson University on a soccer scholarship. Scott worked for Transamerica Insurance for many years in New Jersey, California, and Texas. He then opened his own insurance business in Texas, which he has operated for the last ten years. Between the Shamrocks and North Dallas 40, he has played competitive soccer since the 1980’s. Scott passed away doing what he loved, playing soccer.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Limpert; daughter, Nicole Limpert; son, Connor Limpert, all of Allen; brother, Tony Limpert of New Jersey; mother, Carol Limpert, of Florida; nieces and nephew, Mena, Chloe, and Calie Limpert, and Brian and Rachel Toron, all of New Jersey.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Limpert, father-in-law, Jerry Toron, and brother-in-law, Ronald Toron.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
