Sau Van Morrison, age 44, of Princeton, Texas, passed away December 17, 2012. Sau was born December 20, 1967, in Saigon, Vietnam, to Richard and Dorothy Morrison. He was employed with Triquint Semiconductor in Richardson, Texas. Sau was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his best friend, Deanna Rake of Princeton, Texas; daughter, Taylor Rake-Morrison of Princeton, Texas, son, Connor Morrison of Princeton, Texas, daughter, Haley Morrison of Princeton, Texas, daughter, Riley Morrison of Princeton, Texas, son, Kendall Price of Walnut Springs, Texas, daughter, Magen Price, also of Walnut Springs; mother, Dorothy Morrison of Glen Rose, Texas; brothers, Richard Morrison and wife, Bethany of Glen Rose, Texas, Ronald Morrison and wife, Angela of Gunter, Texas, Darrel Morrison and wife, Kimberly of Allen, Texas, and Thanh Morrison and wife, Beatrice also of Glen Rose; sister, Suong Shorter and husband, David of San Antonio, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Morrison and son, James Michael Morrison.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. A private inurnment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.
Memorial donations may be made to a fund for his children at First Convenience Bank in the name of Deanna Rake.
