Sally Louise Walden, age 63, of Arlington, Texas, passed away November 15, 2009, in Arlington. Sally was born June 29, 1946, in Bonham, Texas, to William Choice and Willie Pauline (Mitchell) Summers, Sr. She married Gary Don Walden on June 26, 1964 and he preceded her in death. She later married Alva T. Lynch on December 10, 1990 in Burleson, Texas. Sally was an accounting clerk and a member of the Baptist faith. Sally enjoyed arts and crafts and created beautiful flower arrangements. She cared a great deal for her family and was always concerned for their well being. Sally was a wonderful hostess who loved entertaining at her home during Christmas and other holidays. She always emphasized the importance of family members staying in contact with each other and was diligent about maintaining those connections. She is survived by her husband, Alva Thomas Lynch of Arlington, Texas; son, Jeffrey Bryan Walden also of Arlington; stepson, Tommy Lee Lynch and wife, Yvonne of Alvarado, Texas; stepdaughter, Deana Rogers and husband, Joe of Cleburne, Texas; granddaughters, Vickie and Livvy; brothers, Tom Summers and William Choice Summers, Jr. and wife, Wynelle; sisters, Mary Donaldson, Kathleen Deckshot, and Linda Gayle Cox; and stepfather, Bill Hopper. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Melissa, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
