Mrs. Sally D. Peaslee, age 86, of Plano, Texas and formerly of Manhattan, New York passed away October 4, 2008. She was born January 22, 1922, in Shanghai, China to Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Dunn. On June 27, 1953, she married Edmund W. Peaslee Jr. in Manhattan, New York. Mrs. Peaslee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. She also attended Shanghai Music Conservatory in Shanghai, China. She was an accomplished artist, pianist and organist. Mrs. Peaslee was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Manhattan, New York. She is survived by her husband, Edmund W. Peaslee, Jr.; son, Edmund W. Peaslee, III of Plano; daughter, Elizabeth K. Peaslee of Manhattan and Kathryn H. Peaslee of Los Angeles, California; sisters, Lena D. Lo of St. Peters, Minnesota and Teresa D. Wu of San Francisco, California; and numerous other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, T.L. Dunn and sisters, Marie D. Dawn, Alice Tai and Anna Dunn. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Parkway in Plano with Rev. Edlen Cowley officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral.
