Salley Christie Meier, 95 year old Quinlan resident, passed away Friday April 3, 2015 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center at Greenville. She was born February 24, 1920 at Hackensack, New Jersey. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Christie. She was a stenographer in the newspaper industry and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Quinlan.
She is survived by her husband: John H. Meier of Quinlan; her son: Christie John Meier of DeSoto; her granddaughter and her husband: Rachel and Ash Harmon of Farmersville; her two great grandchildren: Mason Harmon and Jacob Schaefer both of Farmersville; her son-in-law: Ron Skiles of Euless.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and by a daughter, Salleyann Meier.
