Ryan Daniel Clay, age 32, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 11, 2009. He was born February 15, 1976 in McKinney, Texas to Weldon Daniel and Bobbie Pat (Ferguson) Clay. Ryan graduated from Princeton High School in 1994. He was All-District in baseball and All-Area, All-District and All-State in football. Ryan attended Washburn University in Kansas where he played football and baseball. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his parents, Weldon and Bobbie Clay of Princeton, Texas; fiancée, Heather Ralls of McKinney, Texas; sister, Christy Clay of McKinney, Texas; brother, Colton Clay of Princeton, Texas; grandparents, Bobby and Debbie Ferguson and Carrie Ivy Eastham; aunts and uncles, Ben and Donna Bridgefarmer, Toby Clay, Arlis Clay, Charles Clay, Mary Stewart, Freddie Welborn, Teny Lokey, and Betty Hammonds. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Reuben Dalton Clay; grandmother, Hautence Clay and his uncle, Jerry Clay. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Stan Fike officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
