Mrs. Ruth Evelyn McKenney Johnson, 95 year old Trenton resident, passed away Monday January 28, 2013 at the Leonard Manor. She was born April 1, 1917 at Kennebunk, Maine. Her parents were John and Isabella Robertson McKenney. She lived in Leicester, Massachusetts before moving to Trenton, Texas in 1997. She was married to Willard W. Johnson who preceded her in death in 1994.
She was a burner in the Providence, Rhode Island shipyard in World War II. In later years she was active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and she enjoyed working with her husband in his antique business. She was a member of the Kneedle-Bees Society and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. No services are planned for her at the present time.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Barbara and Tibor Csapo of Baltimore, Maryland and their two sons, Michael Csapo of Seattle, Washington and Alex Csapo in Baltimore, Maryland; her daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and David Raphael of West Boylston, Maine and their two sons, David Raphael, Jr. and John Raphael, both of Vermont; her daughter and son-in-law: Diane and John McNamara of Trenton, Texas and their two children, Karen Havins and Kevin Lavoie, both of Trenton, Texas. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
