Mrs. Ruth Christine Bewley-Copeland, age 90, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 12, 2005, in McKinney. She was born September 9, 1914, in Collin County, Texas, to Silas C. and Nettie Jane (Chandler) Bewley. She married James Hoyt Copeland on October 18, 1946, in McKinney. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1973. Mrs. Copeland was Certified Medical Records Director at City County Hospital. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church in McKinney. She is survived by her sisters, Bessie Wilhelm of Denton, Texas, Jessie Bewley and Catherine Smith of Lewisville, Texas; brothers, Jim Bewley of Melissa, Texas and Richard E. Bewley of Deer Park, Texas; four nephews; four nieces; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 15, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Randy Morlan officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
