IN LOVING MEMORY

Rusty Hendricks

May 26 1974 - Mar 07 2011

Rusty Hendricks, age 36, of Plano, Texas, passed away March 7, 2011, in Plano. Rusty was born May 26, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, to Jerry Leslie and Nelda Jean (Dalton) Hendricks. He married Maria Teresa Ramirez on July 10, 1999, in Dallas, Texas. Rusty was a salesman specializing in roofing materials. He was a member of Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. Rusty was raised by his parent's attending Casa View Baptist Church. He went to middle school at First Baptist Academy and high school at Bryan Adams where he met Teresa, his high school sweet heart. He accepted Christ as his Saviour at the age of 12. Rusty's love and devotion to Teresa was apparent to all just by seeing the way he still looked at her. He was a devoted and active father to Samuel, Sara and Matthew, taking the boys camping and Sara to her first sweetheart dance. He and Teresa were raising their children to follow them, as they walked life's journey together, with Christ. It is the family's desire, through our deepest prayers, that they continue their path, a life in Christ, using their faith to carry them through this difficult time. THEY are Rusty's legacy. In accordance to God's word, it is our calling to support this family as they continue that path that Rusty had started. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hendricks of Plano, Texas; children, Samuel James Hendricks, Sara Isabel Hendricks, and Matthew Thomas Hendricks; mother, Nelda Haller and husband, Robert of Dallas, Texas; brother, Roger Leslie Hendricks and wife, Kim of Sunnyvale, Texas; sister, Rhonda Dailey and husband, Darren of Mesquite, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Teresa Adams, of Mesquite, Texas; sister-in-law, Dora Knudsen and husband, Adrian of Dallas, Texas; brothers-in-law, David Ramirez, of Dallas, Texas and Daniel Ramirez and wife, Michelle of Mesquite, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry L. Hendricks in 1998. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Thursday to sign the register book.
